The Fifteen Movie Questions Meme

DaveMovie.jpg (18071 bytes) 1. Movie you love with a passion.

Dave. Because I want to believe that it is possible for a man to be a president and follow his campaign promises and his personal ideals without having to play the Washington game!

But then the movies are fantasy, right?

Passion.jpg (19677 bytes) 2. Movie you vow to never watch.

I actually tried watching this movie and it was so violent that I turned it off.

(You also won't find me watching any movie like Snakes on a Plane or other "creature features"!)

KingMasks.jpg (24115 bytes)

3. Movie that literally left you speechless.

This was a movie recommended to us in China and I rented it when we got home. You have to see it to understand why I was so taken with it.

4. Movie you always recommend.

I like recommending The Frisco Kid because it's not a well known movie, but such a fun one. Harrison Ford before anybody knew who he was going to be, an Gene Wilder is just wonderful.

whoopi3.jpg (25639 bytes)

5. Actor/actress you always watch, no matter how crappy the movie.

I haven't seen a lot of Whoopie Goldberg movies, but don't remember seeing a bad one, and reading that she is in the cast will make me stop and look at it.

ParisH.jpg (7683 bytes)

6. Actor/actress you don’t get the appeal for.

Is Paris Hilton considered an actress? And has she replaced Chihuahuas with kittens now?

RobinWms.jpg (5746 bytes)

7. Actor/actress, living or dead, you’d love to meet.

I'm terrible about meeting celebrities in person. I get all tongue tied nd make a fool of myself. I figure with Williams, you could just stand back and watch and wouldn't have to know what to say.

CaryGrant.jpg (34249 bytes)

8. Sexiest actor/actress you’ve seen.

You can't beat Cary Grant for suave sophistication, that little touch of mischief in his eyes, and his ability to sweep a girl off her feet.

Oceans11.jpg (20920 bytes)

9. Dream cast.

The original Oceans Eleven, with all the Rat Pack at their peak. Great movie. The George Clooney version was fun, but you can't beat Frank, Dean and Sammy and their buddies.

hepburntracy.JPG (26760 bytes)

10. Favorite actor pairing.

Tracy and Hepburn. There have been lots of fun pairings, but these two were the best.

11. Favorite movie setting.

San Francisco, because it's a beautiful city, it's my home town, and I like picturing what is around the action going on on camera.

12. Favorite decade for movies.

The 50s. I was always a sucker for the sappy romantic comedy.

13. Chick flick or action movie?

Chick flick, but not too chick flicky. I like there to be some substance to it. Like An Affair to Remember

14. Hero, villain or anti-hero?

Anti hero. Heroes are too full of themselves. I think anti-heroes are more interesting.

15. Black and white or color?

Depends on the movie. I hate colorization, but you can't beat something done in rich technicolor. Still, if anybody tried to colorize movies like The Third Man, or Casablanca he should be shot on the spot!

I watched many movies in the 50's and 60's. It would cost about 25 cents for the movie, 10 cents for the Pepsi, 5 cents for the junior mints or jujubees and 5 cents for the black crows.

The black crows were for throwing in girl's hair.
a happy weekend for less than a dollar.

now it cost about $10 a person to get in, a tub of popcorn cost what,.....$45.00. Junior mints cost $2.00
I stopped going to movies.

They should have a something so you could watch a movie at home, A person could get rich.

What? ....!!
My wife just told me they have such a thing. It is called Blockbuster and Netflix.
WOW!!!!
