The challenge is to write 33 (exactly) words on the topic "Lost". Here goes...The letters and phone calls have stopped and I know she is gone, without a word of explanation. The pain comes in inescapable waves. Who knew I could drown in such a hole?

Yes, that is heartbreaking. I think the lack of an explanation, the not knowing, would have to be the hardest.
