a lovely Christmas dinner!
Tonight was the Cousins Christmas, which Kathy and her husband Fred hosted. They have moved since the last time we visited their house and the neighborhood was all decked out in its Christmas finery.
Our Cousins Day group was there, along with Peach's sister Mandy...
...and her husband Gordon and Kathy's sister Kelly...

...and her husband Denton...and my mother, of course.
We brought the puppies and they were the hit of the evening My mother was very happy to sit and cuddle one while I fed the other.
But most of the time they just lay in their bed just looking cute.
We did that gift exchange thing with white elephant gifts. Like Charlie Brown on Halloween, Kathy got a rock...
...and Walt ended up with a basket shaped like a sleigh, so naturally we had to take pictures of the puppies in that.
