Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to Story Time with Tonya and Friends.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.
The book is "A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare" by James Shapiro:
Toby Matthew wrote to Dudley Carleton in September that since 'the great overthrow at Blackwater, there are 'four hundred more throats cut in Ireland.'

The closest "book" was The American Heritage Dictionary. Page 56. Down 5 words. Attitude. A position of the body or manner of carrying oneself. The only other choices were a thesaurus and catalog. Why are all my books so far away from my desk? Hve great Friday.
Are you in the process of reading that book, or is it more a reference manual for you?
My Friday 56 is up now too here...
Hi!
That sentence doesn't sound like it's to good for the folks in Ireland. I'll have to check into this one. Have a great day!
