Thirteen family injuries
1. Walt fell on the ski slope and fractured his scapula
2. I had a bike accident and dislocated my shoulder
3. Jeri was hit by a bike at age 4 and her leg broke
4. Jeri fell off a swing and broke her arm
5. Ned fell out of a tree in Ashland, Montana and broke his leg
6. I broke a toe when I dropped frozen beans on it
7. David needed stitches for a cut under his nose
8. Ned’s front teeth were knocked out during Little League practice
9. I broke another toe when I dropped a frozen roast on it
10.Walt cracked his wrist falling off a ladder
11. Tom fell off a concrete slide and needed stitches to his head
12. David was in an auto accident and killed himself.
13. Paul did something stupid and killed himself.
