The old one swelled or something . This one I got now is very nice and has a seal and it actually locks the handles on to it so you can carry it to a party or something . Love the post .phoneladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15941892184117571313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1515401111310182067.post-26187055535283308742011-11-23T00:10:19.998-08:002011-11-23T00:10:19.998-08:00I went looking for my old crock-pot just the other...I went looking for my old crock-pot just the other day. I knew I had one. I knew it was 1970s Harvest Gold. I thought if I slammed some stew beef in it and left it on for a week, it would get real tender. I'm a big fan of not working too hard, and I proved it by marrying a cook. Well, I gave up looking for that pot and then cleaned out the basement and thar she blows--my crock-pot, full of paraffin. Well. I haven't made a beef stew OR a batiked fabric since the 70s, I guess.Murr Brewsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03422638986410813520noreply@blogger.com
